With working with a group of volunteers who were convalescent plasma donors being aware of the struggles I was able to build a system to connect families looking for a direct donor to patient connection during the pandemic.

    I dedicated my time to support the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services by assisting in locating PPE distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers, and sharing contacts between Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey states during the COVID pandemic. For my volunteer efforts, I was honored with a Community Hero award by the Connecticut House of Democrats.

As a volunteer graphic designer my role involved supporting the organization’s mission and objectives by creating various visual materials such as gala event cards, signs, logos, brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and website assets.

In the capacity of a fundraiser, I managed email campaigns and engaged in cold calling and emails to solicit donations for silent auctions and swag bags.
